Community Creates Community…
Last week Dr. Verner and I had the opportunity to spend the weekend in San Jose, California with 70+ plus Chiropractors and service professionals from around the globe.
I have to tell you, we had an amazing time. It was great to see everyone. It had been a while since we have had the opportunity to reconnect with many of whom we consider family. In fact, the last time we saw many of them was on our last El Salvador Outreach trip in June of last year (I absolutely cannot wait to get back down there).
I can guarantee you know the feeling when you see a best friend or loved one who you haven’t seen for a while. When you see them again it’s like you were never apart. You pick up right where you left off and hit the ground running again. It is an amazing feeling. You know what I’m talking about?
I realized a few things on the drive home. First was how important it is to surround yourself with like minded people. They say we are a product of the 5 people we surround ourselves with the most. I think this is very true. The energy in the room was palpable because we were all so EXCITED to be bettering ourselves so we could better serve our communities.
If you have heard us speak or ever received an email from me, you have heard us talk about how much we value our COMMUNITY. We are constantly thinking about you and how we can better serve, so the people we have been blessed to work with can live happier, healthier and more productive lives. We understand the law of reciprocity and the importance of taking care of self in order to have a positive influence on those around us. Remember, you cannot give what you do not have. This goes for financial, emotional, physical and even spiritual aspects of life. It is very important…
Anyway…
The seminar was packed full of content and at times felt like we were drinking out of a firehose. It would have been easy to get overwhelmed with the amount of information we were covering but we didn’t. We kept our composure because we were focused. We were focused because we care. We care because we value human experience and have a BURNING DESIRE to share a message of health and life which so many have yet to hear.
If you haven’t been to our BIG IDEA orientation yet, we encourage you to do so. It has the potential to change the course of your life. The common theme we kept hearing from folks attending the last meeting was “I wish I had known about this 6 months ago”. I mean what do you have to lose? Believe me when I say there is HUGE upside and very little downside.
The BIG IDEA is held bi-monthly on Tuesday evenings. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, February 7th starting at 5:30.
Yes we understand you are super busy and have a ton of responsibilities. But what could be more important than your health? If you lose that, what does the rest matter? We look forward to seeing you there….
